Fins & Feathers Fest is the #1 combined fish and bird show in the Midwest, bringing together freshwater fish, exotic birds, supplies, breeders, hobbyists, vendors, and families for a fun marketplace-style event.

Bring the family, and come hang out and play with our show cockatoos, and any other bird you want inside the bird tent! Have the kids color pictures of fish and birds for fun, and pick up all of the supplies, toys, fish, birds, and anything else you’re looking for at a super high quality and low cost. We are also excited to be offering nail and wing trimming services for your birdies, so feel free to bring them in for services!

Here’s what to expect/ How to prepare to make the most of your experience:

1. Expect a gymnasium full of everything you could ask for when it comes to the bird and fish hobby!

2. Bring the whole Family!!! As you know, kids  are always free entry, and we have many activities such as coloring contests, the bird tent, and more! This is a monthly family-fun, educational, and community event. Meant for families to spend the day checking out the absolute coolest fish and birds that exist in the entire world!

3. Our members behind each and every table are specialized in their own species, and the most trusted hobbyists you can find! They are the absolute pros when it comes to knowledge of your pet bird or fish. Ask them anything you like, they are here to help give you the best experience and all the info you need to properly take care of and love your bird or fish.

4. Everything you see at our shows are specially discounted to the public, in order to increase the love and access of the fish and bird hobbies. Expect everything you need to be much higher quality for much lower cost than what you will find at pet stores. Cash  is King! Make sure you stop at the ATM  before the show in case there is something there you just can’t resist!

5. Empty the car!  It is always smart to come with an empty car as you never know what you will find and end up falling in love with. I’ve gone to shows not expecting to get anything, only to win a huge fish tank that barely fit in the car. The more room the better! Don’t worry, We will have plastic bags available to help you carry all of your treasures!

6. See you there!!! The show starts at 10am!  The show will run until 2pm in Illinois, and 3pm in Indiana to give the whole community a chance to join us, but I will warn you, the absolute best and most unique items do tend to go first! We are prepared to keep the show amazing and entertaining throughout the day from 10am-2pm or 10am-3pm depending on which show you attend, so feel free to join us when you can make it. And make sure you have enough time to walk through and check out about 50 tables of everything birds and fish!

7. Put all future Fins & Feathers Fest Midwest dates  into your calendar to make sure you can join us every single month for some more bird and fish fun!
